We’re challenging children to read, rate and review three books this summer holiday.
Reading a book can transport you through time, take you to far-flung places and immerse you in other worlds. You will meet all sorts of people, experience incredible events and discover new ideas and information. It’s a great way to pass the time while travelling, but even if you aren’t going on holiday this summer, you can easily escape into a book instead. All you have to do is find the right book for you – and that’s where our challenge begins. It’s easy to get involved. Just follow our three simple steps:
1. Choose three books
It's up to you what you read. If you'd like to be inspired, take a look at our list of 50 books - there's something for everyone, and they're all recommended for readers like you
2. Read, rate and review
When you have finished reading each book, rate and review it on the Summer of Reading review form.
3. Enter to win
When you have completed the review form, take a photo or scan of it and send it to firstname.lastname@example.org with the words SUMMER OF READING in the subject line. Every form will be entered into a prize draw for a chance to win one of three bundles of books. The deadline for entries is 11.59pm on 4 September 2020.
